OPEN divisions will be reward Cash prizes, while Adv. & Int. (Upper/Lower) divisions will be awarded with Gift prizes.
The OPEN section of the tournament is intended for high-level players. There will likely be AA & AAA rated CBVA (and some pros) players playing, but anyone is welcome to sign up.
SIGN-UP INSTRUCTIONS: 🛑 Only 1 player registers for the team. Please put your partner's FULL NAME in the RSVP note. 📝 Your partner MUST HAVE a Heylo SFBV account & signed waiver before you register.
⚠️ REMOVAL OF REGISTRATION: ✔️No partner when signing up as "Going" ✔️No Partner’s name on the RSVP ✔️No SFBV/waiver signed (or we can't find them on heylo)
⛔️ REGISTRATIONS CLOSE on Wednesday, NOV 4th, 8pm. ‼️You will be charged on Wednesday, OCT 28th, after 8 pm, to secure a spot in the tournament. 🚫 No refund after registration closing. 🚫 No refund for net no-shows after registration closed. (No exceptions) ❌️ If your payment does not go through, heylo will notify you at the moment the app is scheduled to charge your card on file. Please correspond with us in resolving the issue, or we will cancel your registration.
🚸 We are LIMITING the number of spots, but we will open up to more teams if we get enough teams (and nets) on the waitlist.
Please keep in mind that this is a not for profit organization, and refs are not paid professionals.
OPEN Fee: 💰 $80/per team | $70 w/net (Sand Augers) The TOP 3 Winners will be rewarded cash & gift prizes. Cash prize increases with more contestants signed up. Men's Women's 1st - $1,200 + 1st - $1,200 + 2nd - $700 + 2nd - $700 + 3rd - $300 + 3rd - $300 +
Advance & Intermediate (Upper/Lower) Fee: 💰 $50/per team | $25 w/net (Sand Augers) (Will have prizes, but not cash prize)
The entrance fee is used for: ✅️ Drinks ✅️ Food/snacks ✅ Beach permits ✅ Equipments (Portable toilets, tents, ball stoppers,…) ✅️ Prizes
Every participant & volunteers will get a tournament Tshirt.
⏰️ Tournament schedule: 7:00 - Setup Nets [TAB with map] 7:50 - Check-in [TAB with Pool Leaders] (G Sheets) 8 AM - All Nets Up 8:10 - Tournament presentation & rules 8:15 - Warm-up 8:30 - First Serve Promptly Starts

✴️ Lower Intermediate: This section shall be vetted. If you were trained in (indoor/beach) from Middle/HS/college, you will need to play Upper Intermediate (at very least).
📝 DM Tournament Director if you think a lower level best suits you. If the Tournament Director contacts you and there is no clarification/response from you, we will cancel your registration.
Possible Cancel: 🌬 In case the weather forces us to cancel (for instance, wind > 20mph/raining heavily), you won’t be charged.
✴️ If you or your partner have won Intermediate Gold Division 1st place or ranked in CBVA, you will be moved up to Advance. Please do not sign up to Intermediate. DM me tournament director for all inquiries.
🛠 Tournament tool info: ⚠️ This tournament will be running on Google Sheets. The tournament director will post all information on Google Sheet and any relevant information in event chat. ⚠️ Please check your Heylo DM when you sign up, especially the week prior to the tournament date, in case the tournament director needs to contact you. ⚠️ Requests after registration closes may not be fulfilled due to limited available time preparing for the tournament.
